Weston & District Community Transport is a not for profit organisation which has proudly supported the community for many years. In 2004 we merged with Dial-a-ride creating the charity that is standing strong today. We are active members of the Community Transport Association operating under section 19/22 permits.

Our main objective is to provide door to door transport for the elderly, disabled and less advantaged residents of W-s-M and surrounding areas at a price that’s affordable to all. Our satisfaction comes from knowing that our passengers have the freedom to enjoy all of the local amenities Weston has to offer, places that without our service they would otherwise be unable to access.

Over the years our fleet has grown, we now have 23 Minibuses all of which are fully-accessible with built in passenger lifts.

Our Services

The variety of our minibuses enables us to transport large electric wheelchairs, foldable wheelchairs, walkers and walk on passengers.

We offer regular group shopping routes, one to one private trips, larger group bookings and much more.

W&DCT Updates

Here at WDCT we would like to welcome all of our existing and new members to the launch of our new website.

You will find all of the information you need in order to become a member and start accessing transport within your community.

The last 18 months have been a trying time for all and our thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected by this most life changing of viruses. Now as we finally start to see life resuming to some sense of normality we are hoping to be able to help you access all of the facilities within the community as you did before, making up for the many months you have all lost.

You will see we have been working hard throughout the pandemic to bring you a more varied, sociable approach to accessing shops and also a greater scope in providing day trips out.

We hope these changes are welcomed as we evolve and work towards creating a thriving Community Bus Service helping many across North Somerset. We encourage feedback of any sort so if you have ideas, comments or enquiries please do not hesitate to call and we will be happy to listen.

So for now from all the team we say welcome back and look forward to seeing you soon!
